We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team at a SEND School in Bahrain. Position: Physiotherapist
Location: Bahrain
Sector: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Boys School
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
Age Group: Primary-aged learners
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Physiotherapist: Must hold relevant qualifications in Physiotherapy.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
- Expertise: Proven experience working with children diagnosed with Down Syndrome, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ADD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, and Autism.
- Language Skills: High command of English.
- Nature: A happy, positive disposition that can impart joy and enthusiasm to young learners.
- Collaboration: Experience in working within an educational environment, liaising with other professionals, and contributing to the creation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support: Ability to support staff with appropriate physiotherapy interventions for the learners.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide physiotherapy services to primary-aged learners with various learning difficulties.
- Collaborate with educational staff and other professionals to develop and implement effective IEPs.
- Offer guidance and support to staff to ensure the right PT interventions are in place for each learner.
- Foster a positive and joyful environment for students, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
