Job Description:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students with SEND. You will work closely with teachers, other teaching assistants, and support staff to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Supporting students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school activities.
- Collaborating with teachers to adapt and differentiate instructional materials.
- Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Promoting positive behavior and social interactions among students.
- Contributing to the overall well-being and development of students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEND is essential.
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with students with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and flexible attitude.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEND (desirable but not essential).

Pay: £75.00-£80.00 per day

Experience:
- Special education: 1 year (preferred)
