What You’ll Do:
- Assessment & Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify physical and functional needs, and design individualized treatment plans to promote motor skills, strength, and mobility.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, focusing on exercises that improve balance, coordination, posture, and body mechanics, tailored to each child’s needs.
- Classroom Integration: Collaborate closely with teachers to adapt activities, create supportive environments, and ensure therapy is reinforced in the classroom setting.
- Family & Staff Support: Educate and guide parents and school staff on exercises and techniques to support the child’s physical development and goals.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate therapy effectiveness and adjust programs as necessary, documenting progress and maintaining clear communication with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Your Profile:
- Qualified Professional: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy, with valid licensure.
- Experience with SEND: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, including conditions like Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays, Muscular Dystrophy, and Spina Bifida.
- Bilingual Advantage: Fluent in both Arabic and English, essential for connecting with our diverse school community.
- Collaborative Team Member: Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, ready to work with teachers, Occupational Therapists, and other support staff.
- Passionate & Motivated: A genuine desire to help children achieve new milestones and a personality that motivates and engages young learners.
