Course Overview
This course is designed specifically for young people to help them understand their feelings and what healthy and unhealthy relationships look like. Led by our SEND Trainers. This course will help young people feel more confident and equipped to manage and understand their feelings better. Whether young people struggle with anxiety, social-emotional challenges, friendships, hormones and just want to express your feelings better, this course is designed with young people in mind.
Throughout this course, we will explore who you are, including your emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Our goal is to help you understand yourself better and learn how to communicate your feelings in a positive way.
You will:
Discover what anxiety is and how it affects you.
The pressures of social media
Develop social-emotional skills and understands more about health and unhealthy relationships
Identify mental health issues and how to take care of your well-being- its ok not to be ok
Learn effective ways to express your emotions.
Gain techniques to understand and cope with challenges and feel more confident.
This course is a safe space where you can freely express yourself. We understand that not everyone has the chance to discuss sensitive issues and this is an opportunity to have a voice .
