SEND seeks a dedicated Arabic-speaking SEND Teacher to join an inclusive and nurturing International Special Needs School in Doha, where learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) are at the heart of everything!
About the Role
This is more than a teaching position — it’s a chance to advocate for children with complex needs, ensuring their voices are heard and their potential is nurtured. We are looking for an educator who combines deep SEND expertise with genuine compassion and who is confident in delivering specialist interventions that support communication, independence, and sensory regulation.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to learners with PMLD using a wide range of inclusive practices.

Implement and adapt interventions using AAC, switches, eye gaze, objects of reference, tactile communication systems, and multi-sensory strategies.

Plan learning that meets individual Education Plans (IEPs) and is closely aligned with therapeutic input from Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists.

Foster a safe, responsive, and engaging environment that meets the complex sensory and physical needs of each child.

Be a passionate advocate for your students, empowering their families and working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Maintain accurate records, contribute to reviews and reports, and play an active role in school development.
What We’re Looking For

A qualified teacher with a valid teaching license. QTS, American Teaching License or high qualifications in Special Needs

Proven experience teaching students with PMLD in a SEND school or specialist setting.

Strong understanding of AAC systems, sensory integration, and alternative communication methods.

Fluent in Arabic (essential), with the ability to communicate effectively with families and the wider community.

A huge heart for children with additional needs, paired with resilience, creativity, and a growth mindset.
