Specialism: Swallowing & Feeding Disorders (Dysphagia)

We’re looking for an exceptional Arabic-speaking Speech & Language Therapist who brings clinical and educational expertise, heart, creativity, and purpose to their work. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to be a lifeline for children with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), many of whom are non-verbal and medically fragile. Who we are looking for?

  • A qualified Speech & Language Therapist with extensive experience in Dysphagia and complex feeding & swallowing disorders

  • A bilingual communicator with fluency in both Arabic and English

  • A compassionate clinician who instinctively connects with children who are non-verbal, medically vulnerable, and unable to self-advocate

  • A creative problem-solver, able to develop bespoke communication systems and feeding protocols tailored to each child’s unique needs

  • A collaborative team player, eager to work hand-in-hand with educators, OTs, physiotherapists, nurses, and families

  • Someone who sees every micro-progress as a milestone worth celebrating

What you will do..

  • Deliver individualised feeding and swallowing assessments and interventions for children with complex medical profiles

  • Design and implement tailored communication strategies, including AAC and multi-sensory approaches

  • Collaborate closely with educators and families to embed therapy goals into daily routines

  • Support the school team in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for learning and development

  • Be a leader in best practice—offering training, guidance, and insight to staff and families
