Arabic-Speaking Special Needs Teacher for Hearing-Impaired Students

SEND International is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Arabic-speaking Special Needs Teacher to support hearing-impaired students at an international school, based in Doha. This is a unique opportunity for educators looking to make a significant impact in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver specialised lessons for hearing-impaired students, addressing their individual learning needs.
- Implement and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to monitor progress and ensure success.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and caregivers to support student development.
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
- Utilise specialised teaching methods to promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
Requirements:
- A teaching license and qualification (preferably BA / MA) in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with a focus on supporting deaf and hearing-impaired students.
- Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is essential, along with strong English.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience teaching in a SEND or hearing-impaired setting.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education and the ability to implement differentiated teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
