Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working as an HLTA and must have a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering planned lessons and supporting the teacher in managing the classroom.
• Providing tailored support to students with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
• Leading small group interventions to help boost attainment.
• Collaborating with teaching staff and parents to monitor and report on students’ progress.
• Assisting in the planning and preparation of learning activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a HLTA is essential.
• Experience supporting students with SEND.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to manage behaviour and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
