Job Summary:
We are a Secondary Phase SEND School with predominantly students who are Autistic (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) learners. We are currently seeking 2 experienced and passionate SEND English teachers to teach both our Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Our school is committed to consistently providing expert education and support for all of our learners to help them thrive and become the young adults they are supposed to be!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan engaging and educational lessons tailor made for individual class level and needs.
- Create meaningful relationships with our learners.
- Track and Asses students progress.
- implement effective behaviour management techniques and ensure consistency across classes.
- Create a warm and welcoming learning environment for our students to thrive.
- Collaborate with students, colleagues, parents and external agencies to support students well-being and achievements.
Ideal Candidates:
- SEND experience especially ASD and ADHD.
- A genuine passion for the well-being of students.
- 3 years Teaching English experience.
- QTS and PGCE.
- A commitment to the developments of our students.
- Strong understanding of SEND and managing behaviour.
