We are looking for a skilled and passionate SEND HLTA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have SEND experience, preferably within a school, and the ability to take on higher-level responsibilities to support both students and staff.
The Role:
As a SEND HLTA, you will:
- Provide targeted support for students with SEND on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or within the classroom.
- Lead interventions to support learning, emotional regulation, and social skills development.
- Support teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons.
- Cover lessons when required, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external professionals to implement EHCP strategies.
- Assist with behavior management and create a nurturing learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting SEND learners (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.).
- Ideally, prior experience in a school setting as a TA or HLTA.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Pay: £23,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
