Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and will be committed to providing high-quality education within a supportive and inclusive environment. You will play a key role in delivering our Enhanced Curriculum and contributing to the holistic development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Implement differentiated teaching strategies to support the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
- Collaborate with the in-house therapy team to integrate therapeutic approaches into the Maths curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and setting targets for improvement.
- Work in partnership with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Enhanced Curriculum and Extended Day activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Math.
- Experience teaching Math to students with SEN, preferably within a SEND setting.
- Strong understanding of different SEN needs and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity within the school community.
