Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a mainstream school setting? We are seeking a dedicated TA with SEND experience, ideally within a school, to join our supportive and dynamic team.

The Role:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with SEND on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring all learners can access the curriculum.
  • Implement EHCP strategies and differentiated learning approaches.
  • Help manage sensory or behavioural needs with a calm and supportive approach.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide tailored support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting SEND learners (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.).
  • Ideally, prior experience in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive, patient, and adaptable attitude.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £91.52-£100.52 per day

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • SEND: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • DBS on the Update Service (preferred)
