The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as an Unqualified SEND Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant with at least 5 years of experience in SEND. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering lessons or interventions to groups of students and will be dedicated to supporting the unique needs of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored lessons and interventions to small groups of SEND students.
- Working closely with the SENDCo to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the holistic development of each student.
- Participating in training and professional development opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 5 years of experience working in a SEND environment.
- Previous experience as a HLTA or an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
- Some experience in delivering lessons or interventions to groups of students.
- A caring, nurturing approach and a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to the well-being and development of all students.
